John Martin Magenau Jr. was in the office as President and CEO of the company between 1978 and the time of its closure. Jacobs went to the Pittsburgh Playhouse on Saturdays to take acting classes. At the age of eight, she started the study of acting. Mt. Lebanon High School in the year 2000, Jacobs relocated to New York City New York to study at her studies at the Juilliard School where she was a member of Drama Division's Group 33. Jacobs graduated with a bachelor's degree in the year 2004.
